Johnny Jump Up

My johnny-jump-ups have been a source of much joy to me.

They speak of hope and endurance and beauty even in the coldest times.

Seeing them, still alive even though slightly wilted, on a cold winter day

is cause to remember hope for a warmer happier day to come.

Thanks once again, Johnny. Thank you, Lord.

Bad Blahs

Okay, so this is NOT a good blog entry, but I tell you, I'm depressed, deflated, downcast...
Blah is how I feel, and my thoughts are having a hard time rising above anything but Blah...
so I thought I would see if anyone of the few who might read this would have anything nice
or encouraging or funny to say back....Hello!...is anyone out there??? Maybe you're feeling
blah too...so express yourself...you know the saying...misery loves company...that isn't true
always because when I'm like this I look for a quiet corner where I can shut the world out.
So if you know the value of prayer, say one for me today, and thanks...I know God loves me
and someday we'll be in Heaven where the ugly blahs don't exist. Sorry for such an awful
blog entry, but ...

they grew in five days!

We enjoyed being with Jake and Rachael in SC very much!

A petting zoo is one of the places we visited there.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Just a Note

For those of you who look at my blog, I'm writing this to let you know I'm still here -
-just haven't been taking "blog time" since, well, since the last time.
This week we plan to travel down to SC to be with Jake and Rachael for a few days...
...warmer weather - YES!
So anyway, I'll probably get some pictures on sometime after we get back.
