Susanna and I babysat Kelsey and Kallie for a few hours.

Here is Kelsey with foot propped up after she got it crushed.

Thank the Lord it seems to be doing okay

and will heal without complications.

A little wild bunny Susanna found and hoped to tame.

But the poor little thing was too far gone

and didn't make it thru the night.

Yes, we kept one of our eight puppies. She won Susanna's heart.

Susie named her 'Liberty' and claimed her as her very own.

Susie does a wonderful job of taking care of the dogs and puppies for us.

Signs of Spring

THE ROBINS ARE HERE! THE ROBINS ARE HERE!

It's always fun to see the first robin and also

a wonderful assurance that spring is near.

I wonder where 'mama robin' will decide to build her nest.

She likes our porch, just under the edge of the roof,

or maybe on top of the porch light,

so we'll see which building site she chooses this year.

Oh, by the way, I noticed out my kitchen window that

little 'johnny jump-up' is looking perky,too. :)
