Leaf Walk

Evie and her children have been with us for the past week,
so we have been enjoying our two grandchildren from Ohio.
We went walking the mountain on a "leaf walk" for
Evie Marie's homeschooling project.
Good exercise and fun, too.

Papa and Zane "building" together.

I see from the jackets that the weather is cooling off and the leaves are turning colors. Well, the same is happening in Michigan to; although, Joel and I won't be here much longer to enjoy it. Maybe we'll meet up with you all some time!

I didn't go up the mountain to look for leaves, but I pulled off the side of the road and put my emergency flashers on while I took pictures of the trees. A guy in a pick-up truck stopped to see if I was okay.

Trees here are turning colors. From the pictures I'm guessing that Pennsylvania trees are still mostly green.

For Judith - how can I get in touch with you? I heard you guys are moving out here. Yea!!!
My email is papanana@tds.net
Yes, Jack Frost visited in all his splendor a couple nights ago, the leaves are changing colors, and jackets are becoming a necessity, especially at night.

For Amy - one thing PA is lacking is road "shoulders" on MANY of the roads. It's rather distressing at times! I haven't checked your blog yet this morning, but I'll be expecting to see some of that beautiful Michigan color. I love the fall season!
